Join me for thoughtful and creative yoga classes, short sneaky movement breaks, and transition tutorials. Our lives are different now, but our yoga and mindfulness practices are still here - we just have to find our way back to them...even if it's just for five minutes. I can help you get there.

I've got videos of full-length flows (from 40 to 85 minutes), yoga-at-your-desk moves, and even some restorative yoga videos to try before bed...with links to recommended music playlists so you don't have to practice in silence (unless you want to :) ). Yoga can fit into your day if you have easily-accessible options - and the library makes it so that everything is ready for you, right in one place. Register now & start moving and meditating with me as soon as you'd like.

Hi, I’m Emily Star

I first started practicing yoga as a high schooler in my parents' basement thanks to a VHS tape, and now after nine years of teaching in studios, schools, shelters, and one on one in students' homes, I'm coming full circle and recording videos for you! Yoga has been with me through many ups and downs, and I want to make sure it's there for you whenever you need it most. Let's move through this challenging time together.

fun fact for the chatarunga-haters: a lot of videos don't have them!

I'm a believer in movement variety, so I'll show you different ways to engage your arms and core in less repetitive ways. And there's plenty of videos that do use vinyasa transitions you already know and love, like chataranga --> up dog --> down dog.

also: there's no such thing as being late

class starts when you start :)

how great does that sound?

yeah, I thought so too!
